Hi I have a 2003 Mustang 3.8 and after a rebuild my engine has a loud tick under acceleration. It only happens when the car is actually moving (I can rev it to 4500rpm in my driveway annd it doesn’t make a sound) and isn’t too loud unless at highway speeds. I was wondering if it could be an exhaust leak. I don’t think it is a lifter because it doesn’t do it unless the car is in motion. I also put a cam with 0.48 lift in and it has a bama tune. Thank you.
