OK, so now that I've had my car for a couple of weeks I have found skip shift to be totally annoying. I like to take off slowly in first and then around 2500RPM shift to 2nd and get on it. Well guess what gets in my way!!! I also like the option of shifting from 1st to 3rd to 5th. Not possible if you are shifting to 3rd at around 2500 - 3000 RPM.

So....time to disable skip shift. It wasn't all that difficult. The shift 1st to 4th message still appears but I'm not forced into 4th any more...

Out with Skip Shift!!!
