I buttoned up the 4r70w yesterday and noticed I had install the shifter in the wrong position (i was following a video and wasnt paying attention - looks like ford made 2 designs for the black control box - one design for the lever up or down. Mine has to have the lever point down to fit the black box as the bolt holes are offset and cant go on with lever up.

Yes i did search numerous forums and ppl seem to have either just wondering if its easier or worth worrying about having mine point...
