I know that Ford and Maximum Motorsports don't make them anymore.

I just had my OEM cable replaced in the spring with a grey aftermarket one, and my mechanic tried to buy the best one possible because the OEM ones are discontinued.

It just snapped, and I ended up walking home. I already have the firewall adjuster and quadrant, and I know that aftermarket cables are notoriously terrible.

Is there any solution to this?
