Help! New member.

I have a stock 1991 5.0 that I drive daily. last week I drove the car to work. Everything normal. When I went to leave work it wouldn't start. The one thing I noticed right away is that the fuel pump just kept running as long as the key was on. The car cranks but won't fire. I shot starter fluid in the intake and it will start to run when I crank it. It still had the original fuel pump - and since the pump kept running I thought it wasn't able to build proper...
