i have a 00' mustang that needed a new transmission and i got a new one on fb market place but it was from a 04' and the speedometer sensors were completely different. when I'd put the same speedo sensor that came in the 04', it couldn't hook up to the harness because of the different plugs. If I used the sensor from the 00', it would not allow the driveshaft to turn. We ended up unplugging it and it seems to drive fine now but I am without a speedometer. what should I do?
