I had a new alternator installed today and it's charging up my battery too much. The battery is brand new as well. Anytime I'm accelerating it's making the battery light come on. Once I've slowed to a near stop it will turn off. Is there anyway to figure out if the new alternator could be a lemon before completely ruining the new battery and waiting to find my car dead again? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
