(Photo below) Made a big oopsie and chipped the crap out of the timing cover surrounding the crank bore. (Initially replacing new seal and harmonic balancer). Am I totally screwed here or is there an easy fix/fix at all. This is the only damage, everywhere else around crank/engine itself is in pretty good condition.
I’m punching myself in the face right now. Everything is cleaned. Will this leak like crazy or will a new seal and maybe a little RTV be ok? Again, I feel like an IDIOT...
Bore around crank had chips/scoring. HELP
