heads need to be machined to match .060 oversized cylinder block?

I have a 289 block wherein each cylinder has been oversized by .060. Should the stock heads also be machined to match these larger bores? I have been using stock heads and I believe that I see some evidence (picture attached) that the combustion chambers are a bit smaller than they actually could be. Potential performance gain?
