I am hoping one of you might have an idea about this?


I just rented a recent Mustang with the new 6-speed automatic with selectshift, and I simply loved that tranny. Maybe also because mine has a 5-speed Tremec T5 that doesn't suit me.



I need to find out if the bolt patterns would match, or if I can somehow without too much crazy trouble, plunk a recent 6-speed auto into my 2005 GT?


I can reprogram it without too much trouble since I paid a thousand...
