Looking for some advice on my 1969 302. The engine has been rebuilt, went to tighten a new bolt on the oil pan and the head snapped. Only torqued to 10ft lbs so don't think overtightening was the issue.

However, my buddy and I tried to use easy out extractors to get the bolt out and one the extractors broke off crooked inside (Has never happened to me before). There was not enough Sticking out to get a bite on it. We ended up having to drill straight on the extractor (got it...
