Finally got the engine squared away and its time to check on the front end of the car. Removed both fenders, bumpers, facias, to replace the cracked Shock Tower we found. Replacing both sides. Here are a couple items that we found but need assistance on what to use or is the item correct.

1: what is the stuff running along where the brackets are. Is it like the 3M sealant that is used for the gas tank? What is it. It needs to be replaced, all of it looks like this.
