I ordered a set of GT40P heads for a Ford explorer 96-01 302. I was going off the information of the person I purchased the engine from. Only to find out when I cleaned to block enough to find the engine serial it was actually a 1987 302 from a f150. Does anyone know if the heads I ordered will work on the 87? I know the bolt pattern is the same. I don't know how to tell if the water ports will match. The machinist at the shop where I placed the order wanted me to measure the water ports or...
