Hey all, new to the forum! Bought an 2011 coyote engine for a swap and the seller said it had a bad piston ring. So as I’m lining up the timing chain to remove it I hear a little scratching sound inside the cylinder. So I immediately stop, but was wondering if I can remove the timing chain without lining it up for tdc or if that will mess things up for my reinstall?
