Does the engine exhaust pipes from the exhaust manifold downpipes have to be removed to get the transmission out? I have to pull the transmission because I have a transmission fluid leak between the engine oil pan and the torque converter cover. I'm assuming it's the input shaft seal is bad. What else could leak there? Looks like that input seal is easy to change once the transmission is out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
