Hubby bought the intake cold air kit a few years ago. He passed away last year.

I bought the K&N cleaning kit. Cleaned it and oiled it. Then realized, it was already RED. How Do you recognize a dry filter or an oil filter? Did I just ruin the filter, if it didn’t need to be recoiled after cleaning?

I haven’t put the filter back in the car yet. I need to put it back in tonight so I can go to work tomorrow.

Should I be worried? The worst I heard could happen with an already oiled...
