Hello Everyone,

Pretty new to mustang ownership and nabbed myself a perf pack GT S650. So far loving the car.

today I was driving it and I shifted it into manual mode and used the paddles now I am familiar with how they work but I am wondering if the PCM has controls in place to protect the engine from cough* cough* my stupidity.

so I was planning on giving it some gas till i got to abt 6500 rpm then shift in to second however when I was going to shift it looks like the onboard computer...
