Hello Mustang Family! I have a 2016 Ford Mustang 5.0, automatic transmission. It has 168,000 miles on it. I recently took it to a transmission specialist and was told I need a new transmission. The mechanic said it’s better to rebuild the transmission as opposed to getting a new one. Do you think it’s worth rebuilding the transmission? I was quoted between 5,000 and $6500 for the rebuild. I really don’t want a new car because I’m enjoying life by not having to pay a monthly car note...
