I have a 01 Mustang GT that the battery became drain and would not start one morning. When you put the key in the car does exactly what it is suppose to, but when you pull the key back out the needles of the gauges for the fuel and everything stay like they were and do not go back down. Also, the odometer will show the miles on the car but after taking key out they all go to dashes.
