Hey guys, forgive the stupid question if its stupid but I’m wanting to do a fun track day build on a first gen mustang. I’ve driven some old Mercedes dog legs and really enjoyed the shift pattern and was wondering if it was possible to rebuild a transmission change the gear order to put reverse where 1st is, 1st to 2nd and so on using any transmissions such as the T56, TKX, or any others. Or is there an engineering limitation that prevents this?
