2024 Mustang GT auto trans. about 500 miles on vehicle. Noticed a slight high pitched whine from the engine compartment when in park or neutral. The whine increases in volume with rpm. Can't seem to isolate it by ear. With an older car I would suspect alternator bearing, water pump, steering pump - all the usual culprits.....but at 500 miles? At this point I don't suspect the transmission pump or transmission itself as the noise occurs in park??? Before I take it to dealer to (likely)...
