Hello:

I am changing my Mustang over into a Shelby GT350 and swapped out the 68 deluxe console and shifter to a regular floor shifter (out of a 67) and installed the Shelby console. The fuse for shifter light is blown. I have tried a bunch of different fuses and positioning of the wires, and it still blows, the second I turn the key on. When I hooked the old one back up as a test, no blow. Is fine. What could the problem be? Any ideas are welcome.
