I am trying to install the PA Performance Alternator Upgrade Kit on my 1968 Mustang with a 289 and have run into a problem.
After getting all the wiring sorted out as I mount the alternator the B+ connection contacts the head. The alternator is designed so that with the pivot point at the top position and attached to the head with the long bolt and spacer there is contact with the B+ wire location. Assuming this would cause a terrible short I have not reconnected the battery.
