For the last month or so I kept hearing a variable pitched whine and I was split between the alternator and R2300 so I parked it. Things got busy and then the Mrs., and me were on vacation for a couple weeks last month and left the Mustang home because of the noise.

A couple days ago I blew the dust off and cranked it up and there was no whine. I should take more vacations. RONG! I started the beast up today and the battery light came on and I found my whine, the alternator...
