This is a guide on replacing and upgrading our 2.3 mustang's (or any other vehicle with a non-direct pull clutch linkage). The dogbone cable is the 2" cable that pulls on the clutch lever. It has a common tendency to break leading us to have a constant glove-box supply for those just-in-case events. The common symtoms of a worn dogbone cable is that it's either stretched or broken. This leads to deeper than normal clutch pedal engagement and loss of the clutch completely.
