I recently got my car back from Macco and i had my car painted electric blue Metallic. The Mustang was originally Red. It is a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 automatic. The Paint job came out great. I got the premium paint job that is cover by warranty for 5 years through Macco. I did not do a color sand. I was told the paint is Solvent Paint.

I was given vague instructions on paint after care. The only instruction i was given was not to wash the car for a month. No specific car soap brand...
