Can we put an automatic gearbox on a V6 engine that is originally equipped with a manual gearbox?

Basically, I have the possibility of having an engine with 50,000 km that is with a manual gearbox that I would like to put in place of my current engine which is automatic.

Is it the same engine?

Is it possible just by changing the flywheel and then putting on the automatic transmission?
