Last week we showed you an 846 hp 2018 Mustang GT that made its power using lots and lots of ethanol. This week, we’ve got one that makes even more power. And it does it the old-fashioned way: 108-octane race gas.
This 2018 Mustang GT from Hellion Turbo uses a stock-internal Coyote 5.0L V8. Then it gets a Hellion Eliminator twin-turbo kit featuring 1,000 cc injectors and a fuel pump voltage boost. It’s using a Turbosmart eBoost 2 boost controller, a custom HP Tuners calibration, and it’s drinking Torco 108-octane unleaded.
It all works together to make 870 hp and a staggering 817 lb-ft of torque.
Watch the dyno vid and soak in the sweet, sweet turbo whine.
