So I installed the Borgeson power steering to upgrade my car from manual steering. Filled up and put it through the motions to get the fluid filled and run through everything, but will say the heat worried me. The closest the hoses got to my exhaust manifold is 1.5 inches, but even the fender wall gets hot to the touch. I didn’t like the idea of my fluid boiling while I am driving, so looked into heat shield wraps. Went with lava tube rated at 1200 F constant and 2000 F peak. Strapped them...
