I have a 98 3.8 V6 and it’s my first project car. At the end of the project I would like to have a nice street car that I can play around in and have decent-ish power. I will be doing 80% of the work by myself and figuring it out as I have mechanical background.

my question is on what would be best for motor options? I am stuck on either building the 3.8 or just doing a basic V8 swap. If swap what engine is the best as far as cost and compatibility? Also what parts are required to complete...
