I am going to wire from a new head unit directly to the speakers in the front doors. I don't need anything more than simple AM/FM so I just need to bypass this junk Mach460 system and run from the head unit to the front speakers. I'm trying to do this the most simple way possible.

So, I'm thinking to just run wires under the carpet to the kick panels and splice into the door speakers there. That way no need to remove door panels and risk breaking 25 year old plastic clips. BUT....I need...
