The Mustang is making a thumping/ticking kind of noise for a couple minutes after a cold startup and then it fades away once it warms up. Any advice on what it could be is appreciated.

recently replaced the thermostat and T connector hose with oem parts, cylinder head temps get up to 110-117 degrees celsius, brought it to a shop, and they told me that it’s normal for it to get that hot, but i don’t think it’s supposed to be over 110 deg
